Butler Snow Adds 14 Attorneys Across Seven Offices

Butler Snow LLP is pleased to welcome 14 new attorneys in seven offices across the firm, including Birmingham, Alabama; Denver, Colorado; Huntsville, Alabama; Memphis, Tennessee; Nashville, Tennessee; Richmond, Virginia; and Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Birmingham, Alabama

Madison R. King has joined Butler Snow’s Birmingham, Alabama, office as a member of the firm’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation practice group.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Denver, Colorado

Jens Niederreiter has joined Butler Snow’s Denver, Colorado, office as a member of the firm’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets practice group. He represents municipalities and other transaction participants in the issuance of tax-exempt bonds and other public finance transactions.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School.

Huntsville, Alabama

Synclair B. Goyer has joined Butler Snow’s Huntsville, Alabama, office as a member of the firm’s Finance, Real Estate & Restructuring practice group.

Goyer earned his bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University. He also earned both a master’s degree and his Juris Doctor from Samford University.

Memphis, Tennessee

Greer Bryant, Alexandra N. Nabity and Megan N. Stillwell have joined Butler Snow’s Memphis, Tennessee, office. Bryant will practice with the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Litigation group; Nabity will practice with the firm’s Finance, Real Estate, and Restructuring group and Stillwell will practice with the firm’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group.

Bryant earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

Nabity earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

Stillwell earned her bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. During law school, Stillwell also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Thomas L. Parker and the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge Tu M. Pham of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Nashville, Tennessee

Blake M. Morain and Samuel Patterson III have joined Butler Snow’s Nashville, Tennessee, office. Morain will practice with the firm’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group and Patterson will practice with the firm’s Commercial Litigation group.

Morain earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Patterson earned his bachelor’s degree from Tougaloo College and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. During law school, Patterson served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Debra M. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi.

Richmond, Virginia

Kiah M. Stith has joined Butler Snow’s Richmond, Virginia, office as a member of the firm’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets practice group.

Stith earned her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

Ridgeland, Mississippi

Joshua M. Arias, Olivia Claire Churchill, Keri E. Herrington, Caro T. McGuffee and Precious D. Thompson have joined Butler Snow’s Ridgeland, Mississippi, office. Arias is a member of the firm’s Products, Catastrophic and Industrial Litigation group; Churchill will practice with the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Litigation group; Herrington will practice with the firm’s Commercial Litigation group; McGuffee will practice with the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Litigation group and Thompson will practice with the firm’s Business Services and Finance, Real Estate and Restructuring groups.

Arias earned his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law.

Churchill earned her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.

Herrington earned her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and her Juris Doctor from Mississippi School of Law. Following law school, Herrington clerked for the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

McGuffee earned her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Thompson earned her bachelor’s degree from Tougaloo College and her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School.
