  • Served on civil litigation teams in a variety of contexts, including extra-contractual insurance defense, medical malpractice, maritime law, corporate law, insurance defense, municipal law, and transportation law.
  • Drafted civil commercial legal documents, including pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, appellate briefs, trial preparation motions and briefs, discovery motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represented clients in depositions, mediations, and hearings on dispositive motions, discovery disputes, and other civil matters.
  • Successfully argued and obtained a dismissal for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted for an insurance company in extra-contractual litigation regarding failure to procure insurance coverage.
  • ​Successfully argued and obtained a dismissal for insufficient process, insufficient service of process, and lack of personal jurisdiction for an insurance company in litigation regarding improper claim handling.
  • ​Successfully argued and had a default judgment set aside for an insurance company based upon insufficient service in litigation regarding improper claim handling.
  • ​Successfully obtained a dismissal for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted in a maritime personal injury action by a non-Jones Act seaman.
