Michael C. McCabe, Jr. to Serve Second Term on the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Michael C. McCabe, Jr. has been reappointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court to serve an additional three-year term on the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions. Michael’s second term begins Nov. 1.

The Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions administers the rules and statutes governing admission to the practice of law in the state. The Board oversees the preparation, administration and evaluation of two bar examinations each year. The Board also, in conjunction with its Committee of Character and Fitness, oversees the investigation and evaluation of the character and fitness of each person who applies to become a member of the Mississippi Bar.

Michael focuses his practice on business litigation, including business torts, real estate disputes and employment matters. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Super Lawyer and a Mid-South Rising Star. Michael is also AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell®.

Michael is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, the Harrison County Bar Association and the Harrison County Young Lawyers. He received his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Mississippi State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
