Butler Snow Adds Two Public Finance Attorneys to Denver Office

Butler Snow LLP is pleased to announce Courtney L. Diguardi and Dean C. Hirt, III have joined the firm’s Denver office. Both will practice with Butler Snow’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Group and represent governmental entities and other transaction participants in public finance transactions and economic development matters.

Prior to joining Butler Snow, Diguardi served as general counsel to a number of special districts in Colorado and assisted with public finance transactions, among other matters. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. Diguardi was also a law clerk for a local law firm focusing on real estate contracts and litigation. Diguardi is a member of the American, Colorado, Illinois State and Denver Bar Associations and volunteers with Colorado Attorneys for the Arts.

With more than seven years of experience, Hirt’s specialties include litigation, research and negotiation practices as well as a breadth of experience in water law, helping clients define boundaries of lands and water rights.  Hirt earned his master’s and Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University. He is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and has been recognized as One to Watch by Best Lawyers in America® for Natural Resources Law.
