- Achieved summary judgment on behalf of financial institution client on alleged liability for forged signatures.
- Achieved dismissal of putative class action lawsuit against client based on lack of personal jurisdiction.
- Secured affirmance of chancery court order involving judgment creditor’s attempt to charge the debtor’s interest in an estate.
- Secured affirmance of chancery court order related to trustee-client’s management of the trust at issue.
- Served as trial counsel in first-party insurance dispute.
- Secured partial summary judgment on contractors’ statute-of-repose affirmative defenses in multi-million dollar construction dispute, arguing that the statute of response does not run against the State.
- Assisted in representation of publicly traded company in federal district court in Chicago, defeating TRO attempting to stop client’s $7.5 billion transaction selling assets in 20 states.
