Women’s Initiative

Butler Snow is dedicated to promoting and supporting the advancement of women.

Overview

The Women’s Initiative is a key component of our diversity and inclusivity efforts. In a culture that’s focused solely on serving the client without concern for who’s going to get the credit – many of the traditional roadblocks that have stunted the advancement of women in the legal profession are replaced with an environment where women attorneys can thrive.

Providing opportunities such as networking and mentoring programs, and increased internal communication channels to champion the work and professional accomplishments of our female attorneys and professionals are but a few of the ways in which our Women’s Initiative helps to create a positive experience at Butler Snow. We have long-excelled in recruiting exceptional team members. But, that is not enough. Our aim is to both obtain and retain the very best professional talent. Our Women’s Initiative is one of the tools we employ to exceed our objectives.

Flexibility and work-life balance

Butler Snow’s policies and practices provide the necessary resources to advance their careers while maintaining a fulfilling personal life. In addition to generous parental leave policies, several of Butler Snow’s offices offer concierge services to help ensure that time spent away from work isn’t spent handling the routine errands that can consume one’s life. Butler Snow also offers a one-of-kind sabbatical program that offers attorneys three months of paid leave. Enabled by our collaborative culture, attorneys are able to refresh and recharge knowing that the clients they work with are receiving the same elevated level of service.
