Caroline D. Walker Named Best of the Bar by Birmingham Business Journal

Butler Snow attorney Caroline D. Walker has been named to the 2022 class of the Birmingham Business Journal’s Best of the Bar. The Best of the Bar award honors the best and brightest in Birmingham’s legal field across a range of practice industries. After being nominated, the honorees were chosen based on tangible accomplishments, status in their practice area and their impact on their firms and Birmingham and its legal community, among other factors.  Click here to see the full list of honorees.

Caroline is a member of the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Group, as well as the Product, Catastrophic and Industrial Litigation Group. She has extensive experience defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in mass tort and individual cases pending in various state and federal venues throughout the country. Caroline regularly contributes to the firm’s Product Lines Blog and Pro Te: Solutio, an award-winning quarterly publication of Butler Snow’s pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare industry attorneys. She is also a member of Butler Snow’s Recruiting Committee.

Caroline has been recognized as One to Watch by Best Lawyers in America® for Product Liability Litigation – Defendants in 2021 and 2022 and was named a Rising Star of Law by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2019. She volunteers with the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyer’s Program and is actively involved with the Birmingham Zoo’s Junior Board, the Birmingham Ballet Guild and the Children’s Arts Guild. Walker received her bachelor’s degrees, summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and the Ole Miss Hall of Fame. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Alabama, where she was executive editor of the Alabama Law Review, final round winner of the 2012 Campbell Moot Court Competition, and chair of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board.
