Caroline Walker represents companies in product liability litigation across the country. Her practice has covered all aspects of mass tort litigation, litigating cases from inception through trial. Caroline’s experience includes managing bellwether selection, developing overarching litigation strategy, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and resolving cases favorably for her clients. Recently, she successfully argued and obtained summary judgment in favor of a pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturer in three MDL bellwether actions in the Northern District of Georgia.
The Legal 500 US, which recognized Caroline as a key lawyer in its 2026 editorial for nationwide Dispute Resolution: Product Liability, Mass Tort and Class Action: Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices – Defense, writes that she “is an up-and-coming star,” and that Butler Snow lawyers “are tremendous partners in product liability trials and case workup.”
In addition to her pharmaceutical and medical device work, Caroline represents clients in consumer goods and products litigation and environmental mass tort work, including class action matters.
Caroline is a member of the Product Liability Advisory Council.

- Served on the trial team that obtained a complete defense victory after an eight-day jury trial in March 2022. Shears v. Ethicon, Inc., et al., Case No. 1:20-cv-00264, United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
- In re Ethicon, Inc., Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2327, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia: Core member of the Gynemesh deposition, motions, and expert teams.
