Brande L. Boyd and Adelee E. Traylor to Present at Tennessee Bar Association Intellectual Property Law Forum

Butler Snow attorneys Brande L. Boyd and Adelee E. Traylor will present at the upcoming virtual Intellectual Property Law Forum presented by the Tennessee Bar Association on April 22. Their presentation, titled “Well, Doc, We Made It Past 2020,” will provide a summary of the Trademark Modernization Act of 2020 and other important trademark legal developments. Boyd practices with Butler Snow’s Business Services group. She focuses her practice on organizational transactions including, mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, and trademark protection activities. Before joining Butler Snow, she clerked for the Honorable Felicia Corbin Johnson of the Circuit Court Division 1.

Boyd earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Memphis.

Traylor is a member of Butler Snow’s Business Services group. She focuses her practice on counseling companies and research institutions in connection with domestic and international technology acquisition, licensing, intellectual property protection and technology commercialization activities. She also prosecutes patents in diverse technology areas.

Traylor received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and her master’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma.
