Jennifer Hataway to Present Webinar for Employers on Workplace COVID-19 Immunizations

Butler Snow attorney Jennifer Hataway is set to present a webinar through BLR on the COVID-19 vaccine and the workplace on Wednesday, Feb. 3. The presentation, titled “COVID-19 Vaccine: A Responsible Employer’s Guide to Workplace Immunization,” will identify legal issues employers should consider when developing policies and practices related to the new COVID-19 vaccine. Along with attorney Carolyn Pellegrini, Hataway will review EEOC guidance and relevant employment laws to answer pressing questions about the COVID-19 vaccine in the workplace. Hataway is a member of Butler Snow’s Labor and Employment practice group. She represents management clients in connection with a broad range of employment law issues, including litigation, counseling and the preparation of contracts, employee handbooks, policies and procedures. Hataway also frequently contributes to the firm’s Workplace blog on various labor and employment topics, including COVID-19.

Hataway earned her Juris Doctor and bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. She is AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and American Bar Associations. Hataway is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Herbert Law Center and is Past President of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
