Butler Snow Attorney Randall D. McClanahan to Serve as Panelist at American Bar Association Business Law Section Meeting

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Randall D. McClanahan will be a speaker at the American Bar Association Business Law Section’s Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C., held from Nov. 22-23. McClanahan will be a panelist on a program entitled “2019 Accounting Update for Securities Lawyers.”

The ABA’s Business Law Section is a global network of approximately 50,000 business law professionals interested in expanding professional knowledge, engaging with professional communities and advancing experiences.

McClanahan is a member of Butler Snow’s business services group. He focuses his practice on corporate law, federal tax law, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital and private equity transactions. He is also a licensed CPA in Alabama and Georgia.

McClanahan is a member of the American, Alabama and Birmingham Bar Associations, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is chair of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section’s Audit Response Committee and is also a representative of the National Conference of Lawyers and CPAs. McClanahan has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for tax law and is AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell®. He earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Auburn University, a master’s of tax accounting from the University of Alabama, an MBA from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
