James E. Elliott, Jr. Joins Butler Snow in Macon, Georgia

James E. Elliott, Jr. has joined Butler Snow’s Macon, Georgia office, and will serve in an of counsel role with the firm’s public finance, tax incentives and credit markets group.

For the past 34 years, Elliott has served as the city attorney for Warner Robins, Georgia.

“We are excited to welcome Jim to Butler Snow,” said Donald Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow. “His knowledge and expertise in local government law and public service experience in Georgia will help us leverage our Macon office to better serve our clients.”

Elliott is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.
