Keith C. Mier Joins Butler Snow in Albuquerque

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Keith C. Mier has joined the firm’s Albuquerque office. Mier will practice with the firm’s labor and employment group.

“We are happy to welcome Keith to our team and to continue expanding our presence in Albuquerque,” said Donald Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow. “His knowledge and experience will strengthen our labor and employment group and help us leverage our Albuquerque office to better serve our clients.”

Mier’s practice areas vary widely, and include labor law, employment law, education law, commercial litigation, health care, corrections litigation, Indian law, creditor rights and water law. He also has experience in legal consulting in the public sector, primarily in labor relations, defense of grievance, EEOC charges, human rights division charges, Department of Labor charges, Department of Justice charges, employment issues, conflict resolution and contract negotiations. Mier served in the U.S. Navy, retiring in 2007 as a highly decorated lieutenant.

Mier has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell® with an AV-Preeminent Peer Review rating. He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico Commission on Professionalism. Mier received his bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico Law School.
