Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Charles E. Griffin will be speaking at the upcoming Northeast Regional Claims Conference on Sept. 27 in Hartford, Conn.
Now in its fourth year, the annual conference gathers the country’s top insurance professionals to discuss the latest insurance coverage and bad-faith issues. Charles will lead an afternoon session titled “Claim Handler or Underwriter Depositions in Coverage and Bad-Faith Cases: Dos and Do Nots” that will highlight the best practices for preparing the claim handler or underwriter witness to testify and for the conduct of the deposition and avoiding the pitfalls that may occur.
Charles focuses his practice on complex business and commercial litigation and insurance defense. He has been honored by Best Lawyers in America® for commercial litigation and litigation – insurance and by Super Lawyers® as a Top 50: Mississippi Super Lawyers and a Mid-South Super Lawyer in business litigation. Charles is an elected member of the American Law Institute (ALI). Charles is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) and the American Bar Foundation. He received his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
