2 Attorneys Recognized in Jackson Free Press’s Best of Jackson: Lawyers and Law Firms

Butler Snow is pleased to announce that two attorneys have been recognized in Jackson Free Press’s Best of Jackson: Lawyers and Law Firms. Corey Allen Aiken was named a finalist for Best Real Estate Attorney and Ashley N. Wicks was named Best Tax Attorney.

Best of Jackson is voted on by residents each year for what they believe to be the best things in the city, from places to eat and drink to people to nonprofits and everything in between.

Corey focuses her practice on real estate development and finance. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers and the Capital Area Bar Association. Corey received her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.

Ashley focuses her practice on public finance and a host of tax issues including public finance tax, state and local taxation and tax credits. She is a frequent speaker at legal conference across the nation, seminars and CLEs on these topics. Ashley has also been honored by National Bar Association as a Top 40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates, the Mississippi Business Journal as a Top 10 in its Top 50 Under 40 class and by Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Rising Star in business tax. She is a fellow on the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity.

Ashley is licensed to practice in Mississippi, Texas, District of Columbia and the U.S. Districts Courts of Mississippi: northern and southern. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Capital Area Bar Association,  the Magnolia Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the National Bar Association. Ashley received her undergraduate and master’s degree from Jackson State University, her Juris Doctor from Tulane University and her master’s of law in taxation from the University of Alabama.
