Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Samantha R. Moore has been elected to serve as secretary of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) for the 2018-2019 year.
Founded in 1920, the MSCPA is the largest professional organization serving the needs of Mississippi CPAs and aspiring CPAs. With a membership of more than 2,600, the MSCPA represents the majority of Mississippi CPAs in public practice, business and industry, government and education.
Samantha focuses her practice on wealth transfer planning, estate administration, estate/trust fiduciary litigation and general taxation law. She was named in Best Lawyers in America® for tax law in 2018.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Accountancy, a Master of Taxation, and a J.D. from the University of Mississippi. She received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from New York University.
