Butler Snow is pleased to announce that A. David Fawal was recently named a 2016 Veteran of Influence by the Birmingham Business Journal for his service and leadership in the U.S. Navy.
Fawal serves as commander in the Navy Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps and as legal officer in the Navy Reserve Naval Personnel Command. His active military duty spanned from 1990 to 1995.
Fawal is an AV-rated attorney, and focuses his practice in commercial litigation and insurance defense. He has served as lead counsel and co-counsel in numerous jury trials in state, federal and military venues. Fawal also serves as vice-chair of Butler Snow’s e-discovery advisors team.
Fawal is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce. He is admitted to practice in Alabama and for the U.S. Court of Appeals.
