NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 19, 2012 – Four attorneys from Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC – which recently expanded its Nashville office by nearly 40 attorneys – have been named to the Nashville Business Journal’s 2012 Best of the Bar list, recognizing top attorneys in the Middle Tennessee area.
Butler Snow attorneys awarded this honor are Kathryn Reed Edge, Kara E. Shea and Robert L. Trentham. Edge is a member of the firm’s Banking, Real Estate and Financial Services Group, Shea is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group and Trentham is a member of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Industry Team.

Edge, Shea and Trentham were evaluated by Chambers and Partners and chosen as leaders in their field. Assessments were made on the basis of feedback from clients and other attorneys as well as the work they have undertaken in the past 12 months.

The attorneys will be recognized at the Best of the Bar celebration reception June 19 at the Nashville City Club.
Butler Snow recently expanded its Nashville office, as 37 attorneys joined the firm, bringing the total number of attorneys in Tennessee to almost 100. With this expansion, Butler Snow became one of the largest firms in the state and among the largest in the country, with more than 220attorneys practicing in 12 offices nationwide. The firm was recently ranked by The National Law Journal 250 – an annual survey of the country’s largest law firms.
