Megan concentrates her practice on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, with experience taking and defending depositions of parties and witnesses, preparing pharmaceutical and products liability cases for trial, and collaborating with trial teams to shape strategy and develop expert testimony. She has secured significant results for clients, including obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a corporate client in a breach of contract action and dismissal of claims against a corporate client in Municipal Court. She represents high-profile companies and individuals in a wide range of litigation in state and federal courts, regularly drafting discovery, expert, and dispositive motions.
Megan is active in the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and is a member of the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute, and has volunteered to coach Mississippi College School of Law’s Health Law Transactional team, which was named the 2022 National Champions when she participated in the competition.
Megan received her J.D., cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law, where she was the Casenote/Comment Editor of the Mississippi College Law Review, served on the executive team of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the National Order of Barristers. She obtained her B.A. in History from Millsaps College where she played on the Women’s Basketball Team and served as captain her senior year.
