- Former Clerk of Council for the City of Shreveport, Louisiana. Prior to being appointed as the Clerk, served as an Assistant City Attorney.
- Drafted legislation, approved by the City Council, establishing the City of Shreveport Environmental Court and was appointed as the first hearing officer for the Environmental Court.
- Represented the State of Louisiana, Office of Juvenile Justice on Civil Service matters.
