Butler Snow’s Andrew D. Tingan Recognized as Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers®

Butler Snow LLP is pleased to announce Super Lawyers® has named Andrew D. Tingan a Rising Star in General Litigation in its 2023 edition of Texas Super Lawyers®.

Tingan practices in Butler Snow’s Austin, Texas, office with the Commercial Litigation group. He has extensive experience in advising clients through all phases of litigation, including alternative dispute resolution. Previously, he served as legal counsel to an infrastructure developer responsible for the $1.8B renovation of Denver International Airport’s Jeppesen Terminal. Before pursuing a legal career, he served five years as an Army logistics officer. He was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and is a Bronze Star recipient.

Professional involvement is a priority to Tingan, who gives his time to a multitude of legal sections and committees. With the State Bar of Texas, he serves on the Minimum Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Litigation and Construction Law sections. With the Austin Bar Association, he sits on the Civil Litigation and Construction Law sections and on the Diversity, Equity and Innovation committees. Tingan is also a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, Austin Young Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association, where he is a member of the Young Lawyers Division and Litigation section.

Tingan earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy before receiving his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. He maintains his involvement with his undergraduate alma mater as a Military Academy Liaison Officer on the Directorate of Admissions at USMA.
