Keishunna R. Webster Appointed Co-Chair of ABA Litigation Trial Practice Committee

Butler Snow attorney Keishunna R. Webster has been appointed Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Litigation Section’s Trial Practice Committee for the 2022-2023 bar year. The committee works to promote fairness and justice in the American legal system by enhancing the lives and careers of trial lawyers.

Webster is a member of the firm’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation practice group and has more than 15 years of litigation experience. Her experience includes defending commercial trucking and transportation companies resulting in the full range of complex personal injury, including catastrophic injury, brain injury and wrongful death cases. She routinely defends landowners in a wide variety of premises liability cases, running the gamut from simple slip and falls to negligent security cases involving violent crimes. Her practice includes handling all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, engaging in motion practice, handling experts, and trying cases.

Webster has been recognized by Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Rising Star in general litigation and named to the 2019 class of Leadership in Law by the Mississippi Business Journal. She was also named a Top 40 Under 40 by The National Black Lawyers.

Webster is a member of the American Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar and the Capital Area Bar Association. She was recently elected to the prestigious position of Secretary and Treasurer of the Capital Area Bar Association and appointed to the Mississippi Bar’s Bench & Bar Liaison Committee. Webster received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Belhaven College, her master’s from Jackson State University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi.
