Xan Ingram Flowers Selected for Birmingham Bar’s Future Leaders Forum

Butler Snow attorney Xan Ingram Flowers has been selected for the 2022 Class of the Birmingham Bar Association’s Future Leaders Forum. The annual forum prepares motivated attorneys who have been licensed to practice for 3 to 8 years to become leaders in the Birmingham community and the Bar. The program includes six sessions from July to December.

As a member of Butler Snow’s Products, Catastrophic and Industrial Litigation and Appellate practice groups, Flowers focuses her practice on defending product manufacturers in complex litigation and mass tort cases, as well as OSHA-related matters. She also has experience arguing in front of the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, advocating for her clients in both state and federal appellate courts and immigration court, and experience acting as amicus counsel as well as special appellate counsel. In addition to her product liability and appellate practices, Flowers also has experience advocating for her clients in a wide range of commercial, insurance, and personal injury litigation.

Flowers completed her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law. In 2017, she interned for the International Criminal Court in The Hauge, Netherlands and completed an externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama in 2018. She is admitted to the State Bar of Alabama and is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association and Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Flowers is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and serves as the Product Liability Young Lawyers Vice Chair.
