Bradley C. Mayhew Reappointed to Alabama Federal Tax Clinic Board of Directors

Butler Snow attorney Bradley C. Mayhew has been reappointed to the Board of Directors of the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic (AFTC) for an additional three-year term. Mayhew has served on the board since 2013 and this is his fourth term.

The AFTC was founded in 1947 and works in partnership with the University of Alabama School of Law and the School of Accountancy. The Clinic provides continuing education to CPAs and tax attorneys in the Southeast. Program funds are used to provide ten annual scholarships to students in the law school Graduate Tax Program and students in the Master of Tax Accounting program. The AFTC will present its 76th annual tax program in November 2022.

Mayhew serves clients with his expertise in a variety of tax-related matters including mergers and acquisition, estate planning, business succession planning and corporate and partnership taxation.

Mayhew is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Business Council of Alabama, the National Federation of Independent Businesses and Farrah Law Society. He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and recognized by Best Lawyers in America®, including being recognized as a 2022 Lawyer of the Year for Commercial Transactions/UCC Law. Mayhew received his undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Alabama and his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
