Butler Snow Joins Forces with Welcome South on Naturalization Assistance

October 14, 2021 | by Butler Snow

Butler Snow is pleased to announce it has joined forces with Welcome South, a collaboration of Memphis-based nonprofit immigration legal service organizations, to assist clients with the naturalization process of becoming a U.S. citizen. Butler Snow is the first law firm to work with the coalition, which is comprised of Advocates for Immigrant Rights, the Community Legal Center and Mid-South Immigration Advocates.

Participating attorneys will attend specialized training on the naturalization process and then be assigned to a client’s case. Once assigned, the attorneys will meet with their client, attend the naturalization interview at U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services and assist with other parts of the process through the client’s oath ceremony, officially making them a U.S. citizen.
