Butler Snow attorneys Katelyn R. Ashton, Luther T. Munford, Kari L. Sutherland and Amanda Haynes Young are set to present at the upcoming Virtual National General Counsel Conference presented by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association. On Sept. 29, Young will moderate the panel, titled “Discovery of Litigation Funding and What to Do with It,” featuring Ashton, Munford and Sutherland. The panel will explore the current legislative landscape surrounding disclosure, discuss court decisions that allow at least limited discovery, offer arguments to support expanded discovery, and explain why litigation funding should be prohibited.
