Michael C. McCabe, Jr. Reappointed to NCBE Committee

Butler Snow attorney Michael C. McCabe, Jr. has been reappointed to the National Conference of Bar Examiners’ (NCBE) Multistate Essay Examination (MEE)/Multistate Performance Test (MPT) Committee. The committee is composed of bar examiners and administrators from MEE and/or MPT user jurisdictions. As a member of the committee, McCabe will work with other committee members and the NCBE staff to review and comment on exam forms and grading materials and develop and perpetuate policies to assure the validity and security of the exams. McCabe is also serving his second term as a board member of the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions, a position appointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court.

McCabe focuses his practice on business litigation, including business torts, real estate disputes and employment matters. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Super Lawyer and a Mid-South Rising Star. Michael is also AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell®.

McCabe is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, the Harrison County Bar Association and the Harrison County Young Lawyers. He received his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Mississippi State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi.
