Andrew D. Tingan Appointed to Texas Bar Committee

Butler Snow attorney Andrew D. Tingan has been appointed to the State Bar of Texas’ Minimum Continuing Legal Education Committee. As a member of this committee, Tingan will work with fellow committee members and Bar staff to administer the CLE program for the State Bar of Texas, as well as formulate rules and regulations that encourage the development of quality CLE activities statewide. Tingan’s practice focuses on a wide array of commercial litigation matters. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy and his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law with a Law, Science and Engineering Concentration Certificate. Prior to practicing law, Tingan served five years as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army. He was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and is a Bronze Star recipient.

Tingan was also recently selected as one of 20 young lawyers to join the State Bar of Texas’ 2020-2021 leadership class. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Austin Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association and Austin Young Lawyers Association.
