Andre B. Mathis to Present on Employment Considerations for Modified School Schedules

Butler Snow attorney Andre B. Mathis will participate in an upcoming Employment Law Alliance panel webinar on Thursday, Sept. 3. The presentation, titled “Surviving the Back to School Frenzy: Employment Law Considerations When Employees’ Children Are in Virtual or Hybrid School,” will cover compliance with the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act’s child care provisions, as well as compliance with other federal, state and local leave laws. Panelists will also discuss telework considerations, privacy concerns and practical solutions for supporting employees facing virtual learning challenges. Mathis is a member of Butler Snow’s Commercial Litigation practice group and concentrates his practice on representing businesses and governmental entities with regard to contract disputes, employment litigation, internal investigations, education law, transportation litigation, premises liability and financial services litigation.  ​
