Kenny Gardner Named to Dean Selection Committee for Charleston School of Law

Butler Snow attorney Kenyatta L. Gardner has been selected as a member of the Dean Selection Committee for his alma mater, the Charleston School of Law. The nine-person committee consists of five faculty members, one school administrator, one student and two community members. Gardner will serve as a community member on the committee along with retired U.S. District Court Judge Michael Duffy. The dean selected by the committee will be the third dean for the school and will replace Dean Andy Abrams who has served as dean for the past 13 years.

Kenny is a member of the firm’s litigation department and practices within the tort, transportation and specialized litigation group. He is a zealous advocate for his clients from pre-suit advising through the appellate process.

Kenny is a member of the American, South Carolina and Charleston County Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and the James L. Petigru American Inn of Court. He received his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the College of Charleston and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law.
