Bradley C. Mayhew Reelected to Alabama Federal Tax Clinic Board of Directors

Butler Snow attorney Bradley C. Mayhew has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic for a third term. He will serve for an additional three years and will be on the Board for its 75th anniversary program in 2021. Mayhew has served as a board member since 2013.

Founded in 1947, the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic is the oldest and largest tax law education program in Alabama. The Clinic conducts tax law and tax accounting continuing education programs in conjunction with The University of Alabama. Proceeds from the Clinic’s services are used to fund scholarships for students seeking Masters of Tax Accounting (MTA) and Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) degrees. On average, 10 students per year receive scholarships provided by the Clinic.

Brad serves clients with his expertise in a variety of tax-related matters including mergers and acquisition, estate planning, business succession planning and corporate and partnership taxation.

Brad is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar (Business Law, Real Property and Taxation Sections), the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic, the National Federation of Independent Businesses and Farrah Law Society. He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and recognized by Best Lawyers in America®. Brad received his undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Alabama, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
