Butler Snow Attorney Amy M. Pepke Appointed to Serve on Tennessee Board of Law Examiners

The Tennessee Supreme Court has appointed Butler Snow attorney Amy M. Pepke to serve a three-year term on the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners. Pepke will represent the Western District of Tennessee.

The Tennessee Board of Bar Examiners assists the Tennessee Supreme Court in licensing attorneys. The board, along with an administrator and staff, are also responsible for administering the Tennessee Bar Examination.

Pepke is a member of Butler Snow’s pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare litigation practice group. A key focus of her practice is representing hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies and insurance companies in civil litigation on local and national levels. She is well-versed in MDL procedures, motion and appellate practice, having represented major companies in high-profile product liability MDL and consolidated case proceedings. Pepke also practices in the firm’s commercial litigation group, focusing on intellectual property litigation.

Pepke is a fellow of the American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Foundations and the Litigation Counsel of America, and a member of the Federal, American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations, the Association of Women Attorneys and the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inns of Court. She received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Spring Hill College and her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.
