Ann E. Lundy and Scott B. Shanker to present Healthcare Law CLE Course for Memphis Bar Association

Butler Snow attorneys Ann E. Lundy and Scott B. Shanker will present at the second CLE course in a series presented by the Memphis Bar Association’s Health Law Section on Monday, October 21 from noon to 1 p.m. at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The course, titled “Healthcare Law 101 Series: Fraud and Abuse Fundamentals,” will serve as a comprehensive review of federal and state fraud and abuse laws, such as the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statue and the False Claims Act. Attorneys, regulatory and compliance professionals, healthcare providers, executives and law students interested in healthcare law are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Lundy is an attorney in the firm’s Health Law practice group. Shanker is an attorney in the firm’s Health Law practice group and has extensive experience representing hospitals and health systems, single- and multi-specialty physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers and ancillary service providers. He specializes in healthcare regulations, transactions, daily operations and contract matters.
