Michael J. Bradshaw, Jr. and John F. England will present at OpportunityMEM on Tuesday, September 24 in Memphis, Tennessee. Presented by Urban Land Institute (ULI) Memphis, the City of Memphis and EDGE, the event will focus on the mechanics and value of Opportunity Zones.

John is a member of the firm’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Group and served as practice group leader for 17 years. John concentrates his practice in government finance, tax credit finance and economic development incentives. For over 28 years he has participated in reviewing, analyzing and structuring a variety of public finance, economic development finance and tax credit finance transactions. He has been involved in financings to support hospitals and other healthcare projects, natural gas, electricity and other energy projects, transportation projects, manufacturing and processing facilities, commercial developments, and community development and other urban renewal projects.

As a member of the Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Group, Michael counsels financial institutions, developers, governmental entities and qualified community development entities in various project finance transactions. He is experienced in federal and state tax incentives, taxable and tax-exempt financings, 501(c)(3) financings, the financing of residential rental housing, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, various transportation projects, solid waste disposal facilities, industrial development bonds, and municipal lease/purchase transactions.
