Butler Snow is pleased to announce Sean M. McGuinness will speak on a panel at the International Masters of Gaming Law conference.
The conference – held March 27 – 29 in New Orleans – brings together gaming law attorneys, compliance officers, Native American leaders, regulators and legislators to discuss topics at the forefront of the gambling sector globally. Sean will participate in a panel discussion titled “The Advertising of Games of Chance in Europe” on March 29. The panelists will discuss how the industry is responding to regulators and advertising authorities restricting and regulating gambling advertising campaigns throughout Europe.
Sean is a member of the firm’s gaming industry team and focuses his practice primarily on commercial gaming matters in Colorado, Iowa, Nevada and Mississippi, and tribal gaming matters. He also has experience with gaming bankruptcy matters. Sean has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for gaming law, by Super Lawyers® as a Mountain State Super Lawyer Top 100 – Gaming, by Chambers USA for gaming and licensing and by Martindale Hubbell® with an AV-Preeminent Peer Review Rating.
Sean is a member of the American, Colorado, Iowa, Nevada, Clark County and Washoe County Bar Associations, The Mississippi Bar, the International Association of Gaming Advisors and the International Masters of Gaming Law. He received his bachelor’s, master’s and Juris Doctor degrees from Drake University.
