Butler Snow is pleased to announce Sean M. McGuinness will speak on a panel at the International Masters of Gaming Law Masterclass®. The Masterclass® takes place on February 6 at ExCeL London, England.
Sean will participate in a panel discussion and the featured topic is “The Increasing Relevance of Technology in Regulation.” The panelists will focus on how artificial intelligence, blockchain and crypto-currency are fast growing fields in gaming. The panel will also discuss how regulatory entities can use technology and how those same entities can regulate technology as it expands across the gaming industry.
Sean is admitted to practice in Colorado, Iowa, Mississippi and Nevada. He received his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Juris Doctor from Drake University. He is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law, the International Association of Gaming Advisors, the Colorado Bar Association (gaming entertainment and sports section), the Mississippi Bar (gaming law section) and the State Bar of Nevada (gaming law section).
Sean has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in America® for gaming law and in Chambers USA for gaming and licensing. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and named in Mountain State Super Lawyers® “Top 100” for gaming. He previously served as the chair for the American Bar Association gaming law committee, business law section.
