Disaster Relief Efforts

Butler Snow has a long history of providing post-disaster assistance to those impacted by catastrophic storms and other natural disasters.  Throughout the years, our roles have been varied, including:

  • After Hurricane Florence, [professional id=”8081″] volunteered to respond to disaster survivors questions through the North Carolina Bar’s Free Legal Answers.
  • [professional id=”8469″] assisted Hurricane Michael survivors by guiding them to appropriate resources through the Georgia State Bar’s Pro Bono Resource Center.
  • Butler Snow and the Butler Snow Foundation matched individual donations dollar for dollar and split contributions between Texas Bar Foundation’s “Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Fund” and Florida Bar Foundation’s “Florida Hurricane Legal Aid Fund”.
  • Butler Snow attorney and President-Elect of The Mississippi Bar, [professional id=”2581″] served as president of the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyer’s Division in the aftermath of the storm and coordinated more than 500 attorneys who provided legal assistance to over 4,000 Mississippians affected by Hurricane Katrina.
