Orlando R. Richmond, Sr. Inducted as a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers – Mississippi Business Journal

Butler Snow’s Orlando R. Richmond, Sr. was recently inducted as a fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Fellows of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers must be attorneys duly licensed to practice in the state and federal courts, trial and appellate, or in accordance with the rules and requirements of the licensing sovereignty in which they reside. Fellows must have been admitted to the practice of law for a minimum of twelve years and at the time of admission to the International Academy of Trial Lawyers be principally engaged in trial and appellate practice.

Richmond has served as lead counsel or co-counsel in numerous jury trials in state, federal and military venues in a career currently spanning 27 years. His trial practice over the past several years has primarily involved mass tort litigation involving pharmaceutical products, toxic torts and environmental issues. He has served as City Attorney for West Point, Mississippi since 2005.
