Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Dee P. Wisor has been named president elect of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He was confirmed at the NABL annual meeting in Chicago on Oct. 4.

NABL was established in 1979 to promote the integrity of the municipal market through the education of its members in the laws affecting state and municipal bonds.  NABL provides its members with a forum for the exchange of ideas as to law and practice, giving its members some of the tools that help them continually improve the state of the art in the field.  NABL also provides commentary and recommendations at the federal, state and local levels on legislation, regulations and rulings affecting bonds, and on occasion submits friend of the court briefs or memoranda in connection with court or administrative proceedings.

“This is an exciting and well-deserved honor for Dee, who has been very involved with the National Association of Bond Lawyers through the years,” said Don Clark, Jr., chairman of Butler Snow. “We look forward to his vision and leadership of the association for years to come.”

Wisor concentrates his practice in the public finance economic development and public-private partnerships. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association and American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in Colorado.

Wisor received his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver.

Wisor has been recognized as lawyer of the year in public finance law by Best Lawyers in America®, and is a fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel. Wisor has also been honored with the “Best of the Bar” for public finance by the Denver Business Journal.
