Wisor previously served on the NABL Board of Directors and as the board liaison for the Education and Member Services Committee and as a member of the Personnel Committee. Wisor now holds the position of Board Secretary. His practice primarily involves municipal bond approvals and disclosure work for a variety of Colorado issuers.
Butler Snow Public Finance Attorneys Dee P. Wisor and Rene Adema Moore recently assumed leadership positions within the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL). Wisor, who is serving his second term as a board member, was elected to serve as Secretary of the Board. Moore is serving as the chair of the NABL Education and Member Services Committee and as Second Vice-Chair of the Bond Attorneys Workshop.
Moore now holds the position of Chair of the NABL’s Education and Member Services Committee, which is responsible for general oversight of NABL seminars, including the Fundamentals of Municipal Bond Law, the Tax and Securities Law Institute and teleconferences. In addition, the committee oversees the Frederic L. Ballard, Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Moore, who presented at last week’s NABL Bond Attorneys’ Workshop on Refundings and Reissuance, conducts a full-time federal tax practice advising clients and representing clients before the IRS on matters related to the federal tax treatment of municipal debt instruments.
