Butler Snow is pleased to announce that Brent E. Siler has joined the firm’s Memphis office. Siler is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group and will focus his practice on labor and employment law, business litigation, premises liability, professional liability, and employment compliance, counseling and training.

Siler is experienced in defending clients in all areas of employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, retaliation lawsuits, whistleblower, wage and hour, ERISA, defamation, and worker’s compensation matters. He has represented employers in governmental investigations and audits, and obtained multiple summary judgments on behalf of employers in age, race and disability discrimination lawsuits in federal court. Siler is also a frequent speaker and presenter on labor and employment issues
Siler completed his undergraduate education and Juris Doctor at the University of Memphis, where he serves as an adjunct faculty member. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Memphis Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Foundation.
