Butler Snow Named Mississippi Firm of the Year

February 4, 2014 | by Butler Snow

Butler Snow has been named the Mississippi Firm of the Year by Benchmark Litigation. The award recognizes overall excellence by the firm during 2013 – and it is the second time Butler Snow has been chosen for this annual award, recently presented at a ceremony in New York.

“We’re very proud of this recognition,” said Donald Clark, Jr., Chairman, Butler Snow.  “Benchmark Litigation’s award is a testament to the quality work of our entire litigation department.”

Benchmark Litigation is a definitive guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys. It is the only publication that focuses exclusively on U.S. litigation. At their US Benchmark Litigation Awards, firms in all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia were recognized for the gravitas of their case matters during 2013.

Benchmark Litigation’s awards are the culmination of a six-month research period, where researchers conducted extensive interviews with litigators and their clients to identify the leading litigators and firms. Researchers examined recent casework handled by law firms, and asked litigators to offer their professional opinions on peers. Firms cannot pay to be recommended for the guide. Instead, firms have been independently offered the opportunity for listing.
