Butler Snow Welcomes George Crawford III and David Lewis, Nashville office expands to 47 attorneys

Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC (Butler Snow) is pleased to announce David Franklin Lewis and George V. Crawford, III have joined the Nashville, Tenn. office. 

Both will be members of the firm’s Business Services Practice Group and bring a wealth of experience to the firm. With these additions, Butler Snow’s Nashville office has grown to 47 attorneys.

Crawford counsels private and closely held businesses with their corporate, real estate, and transactional legal matters, with a focus on emerging technology companies and assisting with their corporate and capital structure issues. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1998, and completed his bachelor’s degree at Centre College in 1993. He serves on various community boards and was awarded the 2006 Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Lawyer. Also, Crawford is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association.

Lewis’ practice is focused on a full-range of strategic initiatives including corporate transactions, corporate governance, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and healthcare. He has advised clients in multiple industries including technology, healthcare, energy, financial services, and manufacturing. Lewis is a 1993 graduate of Tulane University where he received his Juris Doctorate, and he completed his bachelor’s degree at Rhodes College in 1990. He is an AV-rated Martindale-Hubbell attorney, serves on various community boards and is a graduate of Leadership Nashville. Lewis is also a member of the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association.
