Chris Berdy Named CLE Chairman for IADC 2014 Annual Meeting

Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC (Butler Snow) is pleased to announce that Christopher S. Berdy has been named the Chairman of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s (IADC) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Steering Committee for the organization’s 2014 Annual Meeting. Berdy will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the substantive CLE programming for the Annual Meeting in Vienna, Austria.

Berdy is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group and Product Liability, Toxic Tort and Environmental Group. He focuses his practice on complex business and commercial disputes, business tort law, product liability defense and personal injury defense.

Berdy earned his undergraduate education at Washington and Lee University before earning his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law. He is an AV-Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.  In addition to being a member of the IADC, he is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Birmingham Crippled Children’s Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Birmingham.
