Butler Snow Employee Named President of Jackson Association of Information Technology Professionals

Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC (Butler Snow) Learning Manager Sharon Miller has been named president of the Jackson Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP).

“We are very proud of Sharon’s leadership role in this organization,” said Donald Clark, Jr., Chairman, Butler Snow. “This is a great example of how all Butler Snow staff members are active in their communities and continue to develop professionally.”

Miller has been employed by Butler Snow for eight years. She’s a graduate of the University of Florida where she studied business management. At Butler Snow, Miller is responsible for training and onboarding of attorneys and staff in technology across the firm’s thirteen offices. She also conducts ongoing IT training and creates e-learning sessions for attorneys and staff.

AITP is a community of information technology (IT) professionals focused on empowering the IT profession by evolving its members to their full potential as a profession. The Jackson Chapter began as the National Machine Accountants Association in the 1950’s, and continued to grow and adapt in to what it is today. Current members have varied backgrounds, from college professors to IT managers and directors.
