Overview

Sarah is a member of Butler Snow’s Commercial Litigation group. She represents clients in commercial litigation matters, and routinely handles cases pending in federal courts, state courts, and arbitration tribunals. Sarah focuses her practice on matters involving contractual, personal injury, and complex employment disputes. Prior to joining Butler Snow, Sarah served as a law clerk for the Hon. R. David Proctor on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Experience

  • Secured dismissal of purported class action against national food distributor.
  • Obtained defense verdict in favor of national logistics company following a state court bench trial.
  • Member of team securing summary judgment on behalf of national technology company facing over $15 million in personal injury claims.
  • Member of trial team defending national insurance company following claims regarding a homeowner’s policy in week-long federal court jury trial; jury returned a defense verdict.
  • Represented clients in business disputes in a variety of arbitration forums, including the National Grain and Feed Association and CAP-Motors forums.
