Brooke is a member of Butler Snow’s Tort, Transportation and Specialized Litigation group.

About

Brooke makes it a priority to get to know her clients and their objectives when undertaking any matter. She learned the importance of this during her eight-year career in business prior to going to law school, and she now applies it in her day-to-day work. Brooke maintains a diverse practice and focuses primarily on product liability, medical malpractice, environmental disputes, and commercial litigation.

Brooke graduated cum laude from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and served as managing editor of the Cumberland Law Review. She received the Daniel Austin Brewer Professionalism Award and the Frances Marlin Mann Award for Leadership & Character. Brooke was also named the Scholar of Merit for several classes, including Advanced Evidence and Pre-Trial Practice and Procedure.

Experience

  • Obtained summary judgment for automobile manufacturer on design defect claims.
  • Obtained dismissal of defendant physician in failure-to-diagnose case.
  • Led fact discovery efforts in alleged environmental contamination matter brought by several dozen plaintiffs seeking class certification.
  • Obtained favorable resolutions for nationwide distributor on various product defect claims in more than a dozen states.
  • Resolved multi-defendant malpractice litigation in favor of physician.
  • Assisted in drafting respondent’s brief to Alabama Court of Civil Appeals which upheld trial court’s ruling in favor of retailer on premises liability claim.
