Butler Snow LLP is pleased to announce that six of its attorneys have been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America, a guide recognizing top U.S. attorneys who excel in high-stakes litigation and advocacy. Lawdragon selected honorees through submissions, independent journalistic research and peer vetting.

The Butler Snow attorneys recognized on the 2027 list are:

The firm is particularly proud of Orlando R. Richmond Sr., who received special recognition in Lawdragon’s announcement. Richmond was one of only three litigators highlighted in the initial announcement and was featured prominently with a dedicated profile spotlighting his accomplished trial practice and leadership. Lawdragon described Richmond as “an all-star of the defense bar” whose work includes defending product liability and mass tort claims for companies such as Meta, Monsanto and Johnson & Johnson. The publication also highlighted his successful defense of Meta in social media litigation and his longstanding commitment to diversity in the legal profession.

“Congratulations to Rod and each of these outstanding attorneys on this well-deserved recognition,” said Christopher R. Maddux, Firm Chair. “Their selection reflects the depth of Butler Snow’s litigation bench and our attorneys’ unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients in complex, high-stakes matters across the country.”

The 2027 guide recognizes leading litigators across a broad range of practice areas, including product liability, class actions, commercial litigation, securities litigation, white collar defense, appellate advocacy and other litigation disciplines. Lawdragon noted that this year’s honorees were selected from a record number of submissions and represent many of the nation’s most accomplished trial lawyers.
