Holmes is a member of Butler Snow’s business services group. He advises a wide array of business entities and business owners on day-to-day governance issues and best practices, as well as aiding clients in complex transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, formation of new business ventures, contract negotiations, and other commercial transactions. Holmes’s clients range from public companies to local startups in numerous industries, including private equity, healthcare, advertising, energy, banking, retail, manufacturing, and hospitality.
Holmes has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® as One to Watch and is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and American Bar Associations. He received his bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College and earned his J.D. from Louisiana State University.
Adam C. Parker | Government Finance
Parker is a member of the public finance, tax incentives and credit markets group and has extensive experience in public, private, and public-private finance transactions and economic development matters across sectors and transaction roles.
He regularly represents governmental entities, nonprofits, private businesses, housing developers, senior living providers, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, governmental entities, and infrastructure providers in the natural gas, water, sewer, and transportation sectors in public, private, and public-private finance transactions and economic development matters. Parker also assists and advises clients with forming governmental entities, calling and holding elections, monitoring legislative developments, and understanding the tools they can use to build their projects and communities.
Parker was previously named a Louisiana Super Lawyers® Rising Star, is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and was named to the Council of Development Finance Agencies Louisiana Financing Roundtable Advisory Committee.
David S. Rubin | Creditor Debtor Rights
Rubin practices within the firm’s finance, real estate and restructuring group. His practice areas include commercial litigation, bankruptcy & restructuring, as well as banking & regulatory. He has represented clients in complex bankruptcy cases nationwide, represented bankruptcy trustees and examiners, been appointed as a Chapter 11 Trustee, and appointed as a mediator in complex reorganization cases. He also represents banks and lenders in a wide variety of matters, including loan disputes, collections, seizures, injunctive relief, shareholder oppression actions, and defensive actions.
Rubin is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He has been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers® for creditor debtor rights every year since 2007. He is recognizedby Martindale-Hubbell® with an AV-Preeminent Peer Review rating.
Sessions Ault Hootsell III | Business Litigation
Hootsell concentrates his practice on commercial and corporate litigation, including first party insurance disputes, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring. He represents clients in commercial contract disputes, defense of lien rights, acquisitions and financial litigation matters.
