Daniel W. Van Horn Named 2025 BTI Client Service All-Star

September 4, 2025 | by Butler Snow

Butler Snow LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Daniel W. Van Horn has been named a 2025 BTI Client Service All-Star for his exceptional service to clients. This is a notably competitive distinction because it is the only client-identified recognition a lawyer can receive in the world. The Client Service All-Star list, compiled by BTI Consulting Group, recognizes only 240 attorneys nationally. Now in its 24th year, BTI describes those selected as practical, savvy, in the know, excellent at dealing with complexity, and possessing a deep working understanding of business and BTI’s culture.

Inclusion in the Client Service All-Star is available only after being independently identified and named by corporate counsel as delivering superior client service and thereafter being further vetted by BTI. Clients have singled out Danny for his ability to combine trial skill with a practical, business-minded approach. According to BTI, he is “a practical problem solver who has a keen sense of a client’s ultimate business objective and keeps that in focus throughout the life of the case.”

“We are proud of Danny and congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition,” said Christopher R. Maddux, chair of Butler Snow. “His distinct ability to connect with clients, understand their priorities, and deliver results underscores the client-first culture at Butler Snow.”

Danny Van Horn is an experienced trial attorney and litigator in complex commercial matters. He has obtained successful verdicts and arbitration awards for clients in unfair business practices, breaches of contract, intellectual property disputes, real estate litigation and insurance coverage cases, as well as disputes concerning closely held and highly regulated businesses. He regularly tries cases and arbitrations in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.  He has tried an arbitration or case in 16 states and three foreign countries.

Danny is AV®-Preeminent™ Peer Review rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, and his work has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in Commercial Litigation and Banking and Finance Litigation and Mid-South Super Lawyers®.
